This listing is for packs of slightly blemished BLANK  Black Matte flat paper. The blemishes may be folds, creases, smudges, irregular weight or other errors made in the paper making process that would keep me from selling these as first quality papers. Although slightly blemished (scuff, dog hair, mottles, bend, crease), this hand made cotton rag paper is sized and is perfect for letterpress as well as appropriate for almost any use including pen and ink, drawing, colored or graphite pencils and is perfect for mixed media. 

I want to stress that these would make excellent practice papers, and I am not in any way selling them as first quality. Therefore, I am only asking for a fraction of the first quality price.

The black cotton rag paper has all natural deckled edges (not torn or cut) and is sold in single packs only.   This beautiful BLANK handmade paper is made of 100% black Cotton Rag using cotton textile remnants. This is NOT mass produced watercolor stock, but instead each piece is handmade on an individual screen. The color of the paper is a matte black but may occasionally have mottles from the hand making process.  All papers in my listings, including this one are BLANK.  This paper is available in the following sizes and weights:
